About the project

The Supplier shall provide maintenance, security and development services for Daedalus, Cardano's only full-node desktop wallet (open-source under the Apache License 2.0), over a 12 month period on a time and materials basis. The Services cover three areas: (i) Protocol Maintenance, including node and wallet backend upgrades and hard fork readiness (Leios, Peras and Nested Transactions), with a compatible release available at least two weeks before each mainnet hard fork; (ii) Ecosystem Expansion, including Keystone and Flex hardware wallet support, a CIP-30 dApp connector and Japanese localisation; and (iii) User Support for the Daedalus user base, with dedicated support for the Japanese community. All platforms (Windows, macOS x86_64, macOS aarch64 and Linux) are maintained and all work is performed on the public Daedalus repository and released under the Apache License 2.0.
