About the project

IO will deliver three major Cardano protocol upgrades during 2026/27: Babel Fees, enabling users to pay transaction fees in native assets rather than ADA; Multi-Asset Micro Fees (CIP-159), introducing enhanced account address architecture to support new micro-payment use cases; and a Multi-Asset Treasury design that enables the Cardano treasury to hold diversified assets.
